The Genealogy of the Charles Robert Ullrich III & Victoria Ann Birchler Families is organized in seventeen volumes. The first volume traces the ancestors of Charles Robert Ullrich III and Victoria Ann Birchler through six generations. The relationships between families are shown in a series of pedigree charts in which each person is identified by a standard Ahnentafel number. Detailed information is provided for each family in an Ahnentafel report in which families are numbered according to the standard number of the father.
The second through seventeenth volumes of this genealogy trace the ancestors and descendants of each great-great grandparent’s family. In most instances, the great-great grandparents were immigrants to the United States or parents of immigrants. Each volume includes a series of pedigree charts, an Ahnentafel report, and a descendant report. The pedigree charts and the Ahnentafel reports include as many generations as are known for each family, in most instances extending more than twelve generations. The descendant reports include all children of each great-great grandparent’s family, all children of children, and so on, thus identifying cousins through four generations.
